Our restaurant has been in business for 55 years. Twin Acres/19th hole is owned by Bill Peterson. Bill's 86-year-old mom still makes homemade soup for the restaurant every day!

Restaurant Earns Donation For Local Charity From Brew City®
LISLE, IL (July 2007) – Twin Acres Inn/19th Hole of Alpena, MI was named a runner-up in the Brew Something Good Promotion and won a $1,000 donation from Brew City® to the Alpena Hockey Association. Owner Bill Peterson submitte¬¬d details of their “Alpena Loves Hockey & Brew City” event for the winning entry.
Brew City®, America’s leading brand of beer battered fries & appetizers, has awarded $25,000 to local charities on behalf of restaurants who participated in the Brew Something Good 2006 Fall Promotion.
T-Bock’s Sports Bar & Grill in Decorah, IA won the $10,000 grand prize for the Winneshiek Medical Center Foundation. The second-place donation of $5,000 went to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on behalf of Brennan’s in Scottsdale, AZ.
More than 1,600 restaurants participated in last year’s Brew Something Good Promotion by using Brew City products and promotional materials from August 1 – December 31, 2006, then submitting their event results and photos.
Another Brew Something Good Promotion will be launched later this year, and Brew City will provide support to restaurants for fundraising events October 1, 2007 – January 31, 2008.
